I'm in the market for a new 3D card.  Does anybody have suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Nothing like starting another Computer Holy War:

For Rendition accelerated games, Rendition rocks. These include:

Nascar 2
Quake
Tomb Raider
etc

3dfx has a huge base, and supports OpenGL which is superior to D3D.

If your main passion is N2, then go Rendition. However, Rendition
sucks wth F1GP2 and a lot of other games.

Get a Hercules Stingray 128/3d. It has the new Voodoo Rush chipset AND a
screamin' DOS/Windows accelerator on the same card

I would not say it "sucks" with non rendition games. It does "suck" in
regular VGA mode that is a know problem, but to say that it "sucks with
F1GP2 and a lot of other games" doesn't seem to have any merit at all.
In SVGA the Rendition does just fine!

BTW GP2 runs fine on my rendition card!

Goto Pieters Gp2 page, and you will see that video card makes hardly any
difference to GP2

I've just upped from rendition and added a Righteous 3D (3Dfx
Voodoo).  If you can live without accellerated N2 and ICR2 go for 3Dfx.
No contest.  Not even in the same league (I'm speaking from
experience).  If you -need- those two games then you gotta get rendition
(one that's bundled with ICR2) as it looks like they'll never see the
light of day on other cards.

You want to look for good D3D performance and plenty native support.  No
card has as good a combination of those factors as 3Dfx.

There you go.

I have the Hercules Stingray 128/3d video card and now can't load
NASCAR2. Other then that it is a very good card.
