NASCAR -- how do I pit?

by Har » Sun, 06 Aug 1995 04:00:00

I bought NASCAR a couple of days ago... it's a great game, but I
can't get the pit crew to do anything.  I assume the correct procedure for
pitting is to just bring the car to a stop next to your pit crew, just before
the pit sign... but, if I do this, nothing happens.  Am I stopping in the
wrong place?  Do I need to hit some key after I stop?  Is pitting disabled
in short races (i.e. 5%)?

Matt, stop farther foward so all you see is your pit-board man.

Also, Matt, be sure to hit the brake.  That's the signal for the pit crew
to jump into action!

Also, and more importantly, hit the "brake" key, don't coast in or use reverse
to slow down...
