Is there a decent one out there?  I seem to recall that Indycar 2
didn't have the track because of a rights issue.  Who owns the rights
these days?

With some searching on the groups.google.com and other places it might
be possible to find the indy track for Indycar Racing 2. It's actually
very funny. You have to qualify for four laps, and it is a 3 wide
start.

Papyrus/Sierra didn't have the rights in the days of ICR2, but I have a copy
of the track. Turning about as fast as the IRL with an IRL car set. I pull
it out of hiding every once in a while and act like I'm Helio Castro-Neves
or somebody... : )

That is because in the OLD days...early 70's the cars did start 3
wide....I assume whomever built the track txt file was feeling nostalgic.
And the Indy 500 race does indeed use 4 laps for qualifying with the Average
of those 4 laps used as the qualifying speed.

Yes, I know. I was maybe using my words a bit wrong saying it was
funny, I should have said "race control is very realistic, and by that
quite fun to try out" or something :)
