Need help!! Indy 500 sim for the ICR1

by ltmem.. » Tue, 18 Mar 1997 04:00:00

Boy do I need help!  I have had a few responses to my posting of a few
days ago, and with no avail.  I am a disabled police officer, who has
had a brain stem injury, and just about all I am able to do at this
point is to play the simulations.  I enjoy them much.  HOWEVER, I
have the old 1989 version of the Indy 500 sim and want the one that
will operate with my ICR1 and convert for NASCAR1 games, and can't
find it!  With all due respect to Mr. Sokoloff, who took the time to
answer my posting, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR, is such software
available through download, or used sources or does anyone have it for
sale?  I am really wanting it badly, as I am planning to go through a
computer repair/programming/and operation tutorial vocational
rehabilitational training course sponsored by a local college, and
they want us to be able to have an idea of what WE would like to
learn, or have a specific problem to address, and I will be able to
use that as my project.  Please, if anyone can help me, I would
appreciate it very much.  I don't have a lot of money due to the fact
that I am disabled and on Social Security, but I really want to learn
to do this and have this become my next profession, and I need to
start somewhere.  ALL HELP MUCH APPRECIATED!

I ordered mine directly from Papyrus, Doug.  I don't have the address
with me right at the moment.  Jim or anybody at Papyrus I'm sure could
post their address to where you could order this?

I believe we are out of stock, (and no longer have the rights to make
another production run.) Somewhere from within www.sierra.com you can
probably order stuff (or find out what's available to order), but I
believe we (neither Sierra nor Papyrus) don't have any...
