Hi!

Does anyone know what actually determines your tyre temperatures in
GPL??  Is it just time, or distance, or is it more complex? I've
checked the FAQ's etc, but not found anything.

How hard you drive, how much you slide going into corners, how much
wheelspin you get coming out of corners, what your setup is (springs,
camber, pressures, etc.) and no doubt other factors. Just like real racing.

If you find you are melting tires, it either means your setup is very bad or
you are over-driving the corners. Try to be smoother and you might find you
don't overheat the tires AND your times will improve. GPL rewards
smoothness. Just like real racing :)
