I was behind Eldred coming out of the pits on that final stop and I believe
we could have caught Ginger and Neil if I hadn't screwed up and pulled up in
front of a lap car coming out of two. Spun us both, and I lost my draft with
Eldred. It was a great race, very intense, lots of give and take by
everyone.

Well, my typical luck for races I spend in excess of 10 hours preparing for
continued.  EVERY single race I've prepped more than 10 hours for I've been
knocked out of within 10 laps :(

I still don't know what happened up front, but Dave had to let up suddenly.
I did the same to keep from wiping him out, and then I got hit from behind.
I don't think I got hit that hard, but I got warp-slammed into the outside
wall and lost my motor.  For a race running moderate damage I got the ***
knocked out of me.  The hood was up as high as I'd ever seen it, and the
motor was immeidately killed.

As good as Papy's online racing system is, the collision detection remains
it's weakest point, sending cars flying through the air and  into walls and
each other at 400mph at will.

The game got me more than anything else, but I sure would like to know why
the line slowed up so suddenly.  I never saw a reason for it.

I'd call it accordion effect from guys giving each other a break.  Problem
is the farther you get back the less reaction time to work with.  I run in
***pit and its pretty hard to see ahead more than a car or two ahead at any
given time.

I was trying pretty hard to make the high line work but unfortunately I got
a bit closer to Ginger than I probably should have.  I got surprised to see
him come back a few inches so I had to totally lift which caused my front
end to get squirrelly and I couldn't save it resulting in Dave and I (maybe
others) getting spun to the infield.  I didnt sustain any damage but without
a yellow flag I lost a couple laps trying to get up to speed.  Thanks Tim
for slowing up enough for us to draft back up.

I still had a blast though.  Pretty intense stuff 2X2 lap after lap.  Only a
few (2 IIRC but no flag on another) cautions on a 50% race

Great race Ginger Neil and Eldred on your podium finishes.

I don't know what happened either Larry. I had to completely lift and tap
the brakes to keep from hitting the car in front a of me, Dave was behind me
and couldn't get slowed in time and away we go. Someone up front lifted big
time for something.

Just 3 flags (5th time in last 8 races), and two were for blown engines.
Can't do much better than that.

I looked at the replay, and from the***pit view, it seems that the car in
front of you thought for a second that the car above him might be coming
down, so he slowed.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, because it was an enjoyable(although intense)
race.  But, there were at least two incidents that didn't trigger a yellow for
some reason.  Had a yellow come out for either, I might have actually been in
contention... :-(

Yep, one of those was when I pulled up short on the 11 coming out of 2. If I
could have stayed in the draft with you Eldred, I'm sure we could have
caught the front 2.

Im still scratching my head on the one I was involved in Eldred.  Multi car
wrecks I thought would bring out a yellow flag but in both cases it didnt.
It woulda really helped me and a few others also.
