Uwe, we decided to restart the race due to the server hiccup, and we tried
to get you back, but no luck. :-(

Congratulations to Neil, Dan, and James.

Good racing by all.

Nuts.  The only race I wanted to attend. Damn sim owes me from last year.
Wish I'd known about it.

I saw Jurjen's mail, but until I had my windows *** box fired up
again the race was already underway. No biggie though, I think using
the BR version of the track and Uli's setup was a very good decision
indeed, the racing was real intense and fun (until I crashed ;-)

cheers,

uwe

Hmm, whatever that means ;-) Are you saying the race got restarted
because too many drivers were taken out in that little stunt?

All the best,

uwe

Thanks Larry. I was particularly appreciative of the restart after Uwe's
failed Tony Stewart impersonation ;) I had a lot more fun than I usually do
on SS - had Dan hassling me from start to finish. Great fun and plenty of
drivers. Good start to the new season :)

Good run Neil !

I got caught up in the 'incident' with about 30 to go, but it was my fault.
As I was braking to miss it I also downshifted and blew the engine.  All my
fault :(

You need to watch the Busch Daytona race if you can Uwe - can't say more as
thread has no 'spoiler' in the title. We did restart but not only because of
that ;)

No, we restarted  because too many bad things happened to too many drivers
that wasn't their fault.  Mainly it was because of the server reset that
dumped 1/4 of the field to the desktop.

It wasn't because of you.  In fact we tried to get you back :)

No worries mate:)  My fault for letting my spotter smoke crack during the
race.
I had a lot of fun.  Best group of racers around!
Btw- Mitch where were bud?
