I've just heard it has little or no damage, in fact the only good thing is
teh graphics. Oh well, roll on CMR3.

Nope, I played the XBox version, while dumbed down, it has quite good
physics. It's basically a prettier RM.

The physics feel pretty good, but the damage seems to be visual only, at
least in multiplayer and single races.  Supposedly the damage makes a
difference in the championship mode, although I haven't really been able
to tell.  Anyway it's a damn fun game, if a tad unrealistic.  The ice
racing, rallycross, and downhill ice runs in multiplayer are a blast.
