You brought up good points:
1 - I am using a joystick... and I am using a button to brake. So I am
probably applying 100% every time I hit the brakes. No wonder I am sliding
... doh. Apparently in this game braking is modeled to be a lot more ...
"effective" than in Hot Pursuit 2 :-P
2 - I didn't play with brake bias. I am always wary when I have to play with
the car settings. It just so happens that every time I tweak the car
settings in a racing game, my cars become un-drivable. :) But I'll give that
a try. Maybe tightening up the rear breaks (so that I have more braking
power in the back wheels and less braking on the front wheels) should give
me more rear-swing and more oversteering (which usually I can handle a lot
better than understeering).
Thanks for the reply guys... :)
