There is a patch for that situation.  If you can't find it on the 'net let
me know and I can e-mail it to you.

I installed it...but went to change the control configuration...and it
wouldn't let me for some reason...now I have the mouse set as the
control for everything...anyone know a reason for this?  The game
works fine except I cannot set the controls, which makes it pretty
much useless as it is.   Thanks.

I'm not certain, but seems like there is a patch for this problem. You
might check out Sierra's website for any patches of ICR2, and also any ICR
websites.
If you happen to have N1 or N2, you can copy your control.cfg file, and
paste over your ICR2 control.cfg, and it will work.

Try disabling your mouse driver before loading the game - REM out the line
in your config.sys.

If you have Nascar 1 copy the Controls File from it & replace it in ICR2.
worked for me.
