Biggest F1 2000 problem

Is it just me or are the AI extremely fast on the straights
but slow in the corners. I've tried every concieveable setup option to
keep up with them on the straights but they just blow my doors off.  I
catch up to them on the corners and can pass coming out of the corner
but two seconds later I'm looking at their rear wing again. Any
suggestions.

Do you find that at all circuits?  In the early days, I found that effect
when using the default setups.  Then, I was concentrating on Monza and I got
the effect you are talking about, viz. being passed on the straight and then
overtaking in corners.  The reason is the poor default setup. If you go to a
good site, eg. www.bhmotorsports.com and use a good setup from there, you
should not have the problem any more.

List the track, AI setting, and your wing settings.

Also, list your car, and the cars that are blowing by you.
You might check the replay and see what their top
speed is.    See if you have all cars equal option checked.
