It's not new, it's not great and it definitely isn't anything , yet. It's
only some pretty drawings.

But just look at that teddy bear you can buy !
I wonder who they are getting to produce this merchandise ?  No fear of
anyone ridiculing you as you strut your stuff down the high street in these
fashionable accessories .  Not !

So after all these years, they are out of money and need to sell teddy bears to
fund the project?  I'm starting to think we may never see this title...

I'd call it dedication :-)  Nice to see someone that won't give up or
compromise.

I'm reminded of a line from the movie Tucker that went something like...

"Hmmm, selling dealerships for a car that dosen't exist.  Wonder what the SEC would think about that..."

Have you spent money on the project ?  I can't figure out why
allot of you guys seem so anti West brothers. Gees if you don't
like the idea of supporting these guys, well then don't. But tossing
out criticism about these guys doesn't help.
Myself I tip my hat to these guys for trying to make a go of this
and follow their dream without a publisher telling them what they
want the finished product to look like.
As soon as the shop button goes live I'll buy one the T-shirts and
probably a teddy bear for my daughter to :) . Hell that's not much
of investment for what could be the only chance for anyone to deliver
an actual 'Simulator' as opposed to what we currently call Sims.

Go West Bro's

But just think of the fact those items may become one day collectibles! You
may choose to interpret this comment both negatively or positively :)

I'm not anti-West Bros.  I want this title to see the light of day as much as
the next.  I can't imagine how selling t-shirts and teddy bears is going to
produce enough cash flow to fund RL.  If it's gonna live, then don't come back
at us telling us you're out of money.  Just do the demo and we'll buy into it
ala Microsoft.  That should bring in some serious cash if as many as I suspect
are going to pull out their wallets to see it.

Just my 2 cents.

Went to see what the hubub about teddy bears was.

I do not believe how silly this shit is. No new shots of the track, just the
news that the online shop is stocked up and ready to swing into action
supplying you with all your Racing Legends needs and accessories ( except
for the sim itself, of course ). Tee-shirts, teddy bears, and caps, oh my!!

Oh, and I just love the little remark about how the development of the sim
itself cannot continue depends unless they raise some money soon.

Allright all you naive Westies, get out your Visa cards. The ride you all
have been taken on is about to get a little bumpy.

Friggin TEDDY BEARS??!!  puuh-leaze !!

I second that motion. All you who have been tirelessly supporting the
Wests for the last 3 years despite the fact that they have NEVER
produced ANYTHING, put your money where your mouth is and order some
friggin' teddy bears. Put up or shut up.

I am not anti-West bros either. I would LOVED to have seen WSC produced
just as they originally envisioned it, but they have been full of
nothing but broken promises and empty assurances. They have brought
every bit of flack that they have received on themselves for going
public with a sim that was never anywhere near completion.

Wait - they're going to sell merchandise to raise money so they can finish the
demo so they can sell THAT to raise money to finish the game so they can sell
THAT...?
