Unless you have installed the patch for Nascar 2 you are not
able to save a race in progress as this feature was not
included in the original release. Unfortunately the "patch"
has cause more problems than it has solved for some people so
the choice is yours as to whether you use it or not.

If you do you will be impressed with the save game feature as
it puts you straight back into racing again unlike Nascar 1
where you restarted on a caution flag.

The patch is available to download from  Sierra.

Good luck

PS. I understand there is "patch" for the patch in progress so
you may like to wait maybe 2-3 weeks for it.

You cannot save game in N2 as it stands in ver 1.00, you must apply the
newly released patch, which does allow it. I would strongly advise saving
all appropriate files, setups, replays etc. as a clean install will
alleviate most or all of the problems which have been posted and addressed
here in RAS, hope this helps ya,

Did you install the patch for Nascar 2?  There is no save-game feature
in the original version, you have to install the patch.
