Anyone used a Per4mer Wheel?

by Shane Down » Fri, 21 Mar 1997 04:00:00

I was just wondering if anyone has used the Per4mer wheel and pedels?
Are they any good?  How would they compare to the T2 or other
thrustmaster wheels?  Just as good or worse or better.  Do the papyrus
games support well with this wheel?

Thanks just want to get a feel before I make a purchase.

  Shane,
The Per4mer is a pretty decent wheel - for the money.  I'd personally
go with the T2; it's not that much more expensive.  I've used both, and
been more happy with my T2.  The Per4mer is mostly plastic inside, so it
wears out FAST.  The spring-and-ball mechanism that centers the wheel is
plastic, and the metal balls wear them out pretty fast.  I had my
Per4mer for 6 months before it wore out, then I got my T2, and haven't
had any problems since.
My opinion - go with the T2-it's worth it.
