Anybody ever used the Per4mer steering wheel? The Walden Software store
here is selling it for $49.99. Is it worth it? I've always used a
joystick for NASCAR Racing and ICR2, would like to get my feet wet using
a wheel without taking a financial bath.
Any opinions? Thanks in advance.
I saw a review in one of the games mags, and they gave it something like
5 out of 100, cautioning that under no circumstances should anyone buy
this product (sorry).

I tried one of these at the computer store here and found the control
to be terrible. It didn't seem to respond to well. If you're looking
for a cheaper wheel try the Formula T2. I got it here for $89 and it
comes with the gas and brake petals. For the price it has good control
and will make your game tons more fun then using a joystick.

If anybody sees a price like this at a major U.S chain please e-mail me. I saw
the T2 at incrdible Universe for $99.00 and didn't grab it. Now it's $129.00
Arrrgh! $89.00 would be great!

just look in any computer ame magazine, or that computer
shopper magazine, they have mail order companies that have
cheap stuff, 8 megs of ram for 89.00, etc.
