Per4Mer Turbo Wheel

I just read in a PC magazine about a steering wheel for racing-
games by SC&T2. It has 2 programmable buttons on the wheel, and 4 on
the console. I play NFSSE- is this Per4Mer out now? If it is, is it
any good? Worth $50? Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Per4Mer Turbo Wheel

I saw one in my local PC World yesterday for UKP39.99.  They had it connected
upto GP2 so I thought I'd have a blast.

The steering mechanism feels quite starnge and the lock is very small.
Therefore I found it fairly inaccurate. The wheel itself had 2 buttons on the
front(accelerate/brake) 2 on the back (gear change) and four on the "dashboard"

Its OK but accelerate brake is not analog its switched so its either flat out
or full brakes.

Haven't tried it with NFS

I recently saw a review of wheel/pedal combos for driving sims in a
magazine (don't recall which one). The Per4Mer was given low ratings.
Save your bucks and get a T2. Its a great wheel for $100 and has a
proven track record and great support from Thrustmaster.
