How come Papyrus does not communicate with its user base? You would think
they would let us know what is going on with patches and address other
issues with us. Is this the way they normally do business?

It would just be nice to know that they acknowledge us N4 beta testers!

They used to communicate with us. But that was a headache for them. People
on this board and other boards would flip out and bash them if there were
any setbacks. Now since we have no idea whats going then we also don't have
a timeline to hold them to. It is much better for all involved if they just
look at this board and don't reply.

I don't find any lack of communication.  They absolutely know what should be
enhanced in the patch, and be sure they are working on them.  There is no
need for overblown information gathering, they have all they need to know.
Perhaps not on r.a.s, but Papy employees are quite present in another
newsgroup (targeted mostly to the stockcar community)

This newsgroup was different before the creation of the NROS newsgroup,
every one of them migrated into it and stayed there.  It was very silent and
slow here until we went into the GPL-era ;-)

But then you would be all-alone in r.a.s.  Instead of that, maybe you could
create your own NG instead ;-D
