basically, with separate pedals you can brake and accelerate at the same
time, while combined with both pedals depressed you are doing nothing one
pedal cancels the other.

with this you could do trailbraking, for example in monzas 1 turn I brake
quick and short before entering the turn to launch the weight front, without
lifting the throttle, then downshift and enter the turn half throttle

Manuel's right and you should also know that not all sims support seperate
pedals. Nascar2 does not support seperate pedals and will not calibrate if
your switch is set to seperate. GPL on the other hand supports seperate
pedals and your switch must be in the seperate position. To go from
seperate to combined you must shut off your computer, switch the switch
then reboot your system and recalibrate everything.

I use my converted T2 pedals with seperate axis in NASCAR 2, and it works
fine. If I remember right, even NASCAR 1 and ICR 2 had multi-axis support-
or am I wrong on that?

Even so, you're right, there are several sims that won't work with the axis
swith set to seperate- I just don't have any of them 8^)

Nascar2 calibrates and runs just fine here in either combined or
separate modes.

GPL calibrates and runs just fine here in either combined or separate
mode.

Haven't had any problems here just switching the switch and
recalibrating. No reboots required.
