I know I'm a little slow, but I just downloaded this track.

Is this a real track that exists somewhere, or is it imaginary?

Has anyone else been lured over the fence by that flasher in the red
jacket?

Hi
Solitude is a real track in Germany that was used for Formula car racing and
motorcycle racing until at least the mid sixties. The GPL version is a
particularly beautiful rendition by Martijn Keizer, and it is a challenging
circuit to race on. A lap time around 3m30 is respectable.
You will find I think a text document in your download zip file which gives
some history of the track.
As far as I know nobody actually raced while snow was falling :)

I just ran a race there.  Pole speed for the AI was 4:01.

Mine wasn't quite that good.  Around 5:00
