>Well it's not that hard to believe. Think about this:

>But there is one small thing you have to remember...

So your friends don't care if it drives like a real car or not?  If
that were true we would all still be playing Space Invaders and higher
realism flight sims would never have been developed. Why waste money
developing a realistic 6 degree of freedom flight model when most
people are happy with a 2 degree one? What a waste of resources, no?

> That imaginary world you live in seems FABULOUS!

No, your a relic of the past in the entertainment industry.  You englobe
profit like it's the only important thing in the world.  I'm not at all
touching this, I'm stating that the market cannot be taken as a whole.  You
can if your title is done for it, but when it's not it shouldn't be compared
to the mass market.  Like the mainstream pop music industry does not compare
at all to the underground, even if both can easily live from profability.
Same as the indie movies, same as the cable networks.

 >as you quote fictional facts

Haha you are the one stating a random number of "people who read r.a.s."

Anyway nice 3733+ attempt to flame me.  It really failed.  I knew you would
do this, as your arguments were weak and the only thing left for you was
that.

For someone who doesn't like it here, you sure blow a ton of hot air
about it. Why don't you just find some other outlet for your
"conversational talents"? You come off as exactly the sort that
populates the wretched RASF1.

Oh, and thanks so much for re-posting a nearly 700-word quote that
anyone who's followed this thread has already seen.

Get a life.

Could you two guys simplify your language just a little bit?  You're forcing
words and trying to sound quaint and it's all turned into one big, extended
aphorism.

I haven't got one bit of a shread of meaning from any of you, except that
you dislike each other and neither knows what the other is talking about.

Well, welcome to Usenet rhetoric flaming ;-)

That is not true in my case.  I dislike nobody in the community.

I don't think there is anything more 'inviting' than Frank welcoming a new
sim racer who is in love with a UbiSoft F1 title!

I hope no one is seriously trying to advance the proposition that there
is some sort of internal fallacy in the long-term RAS phenomenon someone
has succinctly  identified as "The World According to ymenard". That
would be a heterodoxy bordering very closely to heresy. ymenard is a
well-known and long-established God.

(it's still great to know that lurkers and posters of the entire world can
easily identify me as a superior person of intellect, and instantly
recognise my style.  I am not a sheep lost in the herd of corporate
