When using the Pits Patch(say that 3 times real fast!)  you must limit
your track folders to 40.  I don't know why, ya just do.  Move some of
the ovals to a temp folder and once you get to just 40 tracks, or maybe
under 40, then all should work.  Lots of folks have gotten the Pits
Patch working.

Hello All.
Well I'm still trying to get into N3, might try some online racing tonight.
But I have a different question. I want to add the tracks from NROS and N99
to my N3 game. Thanks to ymenard I have the directions, but being part lazy
on my mothers side, I tried the N3 patch from the USPITS. I copied all the
tracks over, and ran the install.bat, and all seemed well. Then when I tried
to run the game, well it went all to hell. It would give me the intro.
screen, but just as the screen would normally change from the red "presents"
screen, it went black and dumped back to the desktop.
I thought I followed the instructions correctly. I mean I can double click
with the best of them, but perhaps I missed something. Anyone else have a
problem with this... or anything tips or pointers that would help. I really
want the old tracks. I would like to try and get a Flemington online series
running, but I have to have the track first.
Thanks for any help in this matter.
Later,
Brian

To be more precise, you can have many track folders (I have 54 in the tracks
directory), but a maximum of 40 races in the all.cal calendar file.  The
all.cal file that comes with the Pits patch overwrites your original all.cal
and needs to be edited since it contains about 80 entries.
