NFS and TurboModem! won't work

I can't get my TurboModemPlus (14.4 data, 9600 fax) to work at all with
NFS.  Whenever I try to dial just get "Failed to init modem".  I have the
correct irq and com selected.  I've tried all the different modem setups
as well as a few of my own.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, what's the "warrior".  Never heard of it.
