Act Labs Force RS Problems...

by Gary Kleinfelte » Thu, 15 Jun 2000 04:00:00

I really like my Force RS, but recenetly I've been having problems that I'm
hopin someone could help me with.

In Nascar 3, when I change go into the race screen (sitting in the***pit
ready to go), and force feedback is enabled, my steering wheel starts moving
back and forth to about the 35 degree mark both ways.  It makes me wonder if
I need to somehow increase the dead zone, or something.  It did not do this
since I've owned it.  It start about 10 laps into a practice run at Indy
coming out of turn 4 and hasn't stopped since.

I've reinstalled Windows98SE and Nascar 3.  I've even upgrade to Win2K and
used the new drivers, but no luck.

Any assistance would be appreciated because I have a league race tonite.

Win98se
SB AWE 64
320 Megs Ram
Voodoo 3500

It happens with any FF wheel. The force is up too high or not enough
damping. The game settings at Tweaks & Reviews. It may help.
