What port do input devices, such as a wheel plug into ?  Can something like
Thrustmaster's Sprint wheel be plugged into a laptop ?

The Sprint wheel uses the standard "game port".  Some of the Force
Feedback and digital wheels will use either the serial or USB port.
However, some of the Force Feedback wheels use a gameport with midi.
