will the AGP hercules terminator 2x/i with the intel I740 chip run N2 in the
rendition mode?

Homedoc,

To run Rendition games your video card needs a Rendition chip.
You basically answered your own question, since the Terminator
has a I740 chip -- the answer is no.

However, the AGP Hercules Thriller has 8MB and the Rendition
2200 chip to run N2 very well.   I don't have one myself, but
others enjoy it
