Watched first 120 laps of today's race using Nascar In Car - I will say
that it would be well worth the money for any race fan. Ability to view
in-car from 7 different drivers throughout the race. Needed to change
to Fox from time to time to get the overall view or any replays, but it
made it much nicer to switch from car to car when Fox was in
commercials!

Today's trial was free. Gotta have digital cable, though, I don't, went
over my brother-in-law's to watch today. Thanks, Rick!

Yeah, it's a nice little scam Na$car has going; pack the broadcasts full
of commercials, and they'll be breaking down the doors to pay for in-car.
Typical of that outfit these days.

Tell you what, it works out to about $3 a race, well worth it if you
take the time on Sundays to tune in.

I can't believe the commercials are WORSE this year!  I didn't think it
could possibly get worse, but they proved me wrong.

At one point I counted SEVEN commercial breaks in a 30 minute period, each
one at least 2-3 minutes long.

It's dreadful.

Today I was reminded why I never watch races live.  I won't do it again.  I
will make better use of the DVR next week.

He is talking about the NASCAR Incar on Digital Cable, not the online Pit
Command :-)

I got that free on Comcast last year and this year. It is very cool. I'll
wait until I can control the camera before I get a subscription.

Commercials are getting more frequent (and worse)on ALL sorts of
broadcasts.  That's why I try not to watch ANYthing live anymore.  DVR's
are the greatest invention sinced sliced bread, if you ask me.

the commercial break with 20 laps left was the worst. Gordon got to the
front after fading a bit before the break, and their was the wreck. It's not
only nascar it's all outfits. 1973 A typical NFL game started at 100pm.
Around 330pm it was winding down near the end. Now it can be well after
400pm. the almighty dollar speaks. It would be nice if someone in the booth
could override and make a decision with the fans in mind. My 2 cents :o)

Do you guys have one of the channels that shows the broadcast as well? Does
it carry the network feed and show commercials or do you still see the
racing while the network is off to commercial? I'm trying to see what the
differences are between the US and Canadian versions of NASCAR In Car.

The only commercials you have to watch are the ones for the program itself,
about every half hour or so. NO televised commercials, and just in the car
you choose to watch. I chose mainly to watch TV then switch to Incar during
the commercials.

All you get are the 7 in-car views. You really need the network
broadcast as well to keep tabs on the whole race.
