Speaking of High Def yesterday was my first race at 720p and I was all
wooded up the whole race.  OMG it was beutifus!!!  Who will be the first
network to broadcast a 1080p race?

My Hidef box does have PIP, 2 tuners, and DVR. So, you could rewind replays
and stuff, pretty cool.  As far as the nascar ***... you guys are too
funny.  They don't control commercials, that is Fox and the networks. They
got their money. As far as Fox having more commercials to drive in-car
revenue.. they don't care, that is a cable company money maker, not fox.

The incar in Florida is $89, which makes it less than $3.00 a race, which is
worth it.

After seeing the math I may give it a shot.  I was looking for a reason to
build a HTPC anyway.  4 tuners (to match recievers) each recording the
in-cars and the 2 tuners on the tv.   Hmmmmm.   All race every race....
Compress the video of my choice to my SD/iPAQ and I can watch the race all
week from a different perspectives from anywhere.  Id say that would be
worth a sawbuck a season ;)

Mitch, here in Florida, you have to have a digital box to get to the incar
channels. So, you would need a box for each incar output. The new 8300 has 2
tuners in it, so you can do 2 at a time. I am not sure if this is the case
everywhere or if you have someway of getting to those channels using the
puter card.

Once you get it, racing is not the same, it's the next best thing to being
there. Considering I had to pay $40.00 just to park at the twins last
Thursday, this is a steal. (Yes, I know there is "free" parking, if you are
willing to walk for ever or ride a bus. Which means that you sit in traffic
for an hour or three.)
