What fantastic fun!

I set up an F2 player profile ages ago but have only just got 'round to
trying it out.

Well, I expected it to be a bit boring, or at least to feel 'slow'.  Not a
bit of it.  I tried the Eagle (one of Maxx's setups; see
http://www.racesimcentral.net/) at Monza and managed a pb of 1:38.01
which I know is off the pace, but all the same it felt different but good.

I can see why online F2 racing would be plenty of fun!

Yes, F2 online attracts a better class of racers, if you ask me.  Ahem.

Create a vrocf2 chatroom in WinVROC and log on at 9pm UK time tomorrow
night.  I run one of the VROC-F2 club race meetings then.  Tomorrow we are
running a short race at Monza followed by a second at Sopheve.  There are
usually about 20 racers at this event each week and are an excellent
introduction to F2 racing.

Cheers

I tried F2 and F3 a couple of times and I still can't see what's the
fun of it.. yes, closer racing, I guess that must be the thrill of
lawnmower racing too then. But don't you guys love nailing Masta and
the Monaco chicane at allmost full speed? Remind me of those F3 races
again when I'm 80 years old please :)

It's closer racing for SOME.  I've discovered that I'm much farther off the
pace in F2-F3 than in F1.  Try running a race at Spa in an F3 when everyone
else has checked out.  That happened to me in a GPLe Mans race last week.
BORRRING... :(
