CMR3 and stearing-settings - HELP

Hi.
I love the steering in CMR2, nice FF there too, but in CMR3 demo, the
steering is "loose". I have tried to fiddle around with saturation and
deadzone, but it is not possible for me to "hit the spot" where the car
react as a real car. And the FF is almost not there. I'm using a Microsoft
FF wheel and WindowsXP. FF with this wheel works fine with CMR2 and EA's F1
2002, so I'm pretty sure WindowsXP has installed the correct driver for it.
I hope they will pull themself together and gives us a good PC steering
before the game is released. As it is now it is almost a console-steering,
and that is NOT good enough when using a wheel.
Anyone with an idea how to get a good feeling with the steering?
The graphics and sound is OK, graphic not WOW, but ok.

I've got the saturation down to about 50% on my Thrustmaster FF wheel. and
it seems pretty good. No FF though yet.

Good luck. This certainly is no sim but one thing I did notice is car
feel and handling seems to change dramatically depending on what view is
used. The in-car view is by far the best for sim'ish handling. Worst is
3rd person(car) view.

FWIW, I set the deadzone to zero(max narrow) and sat to max wide.

And completely wrong. I totally agree. I use a Momo and CMR2 is fun but
the CMR3 demo's FF is so bad I won't buy it. Shame.

Loose, yes.  But not as loose as the first demo.  The patch at least
improved things.  CMR2's steering was fine; still, the car seemed to stick
to the track as if the whole car were magnatized and the track made of
steel.

I think Codemaster indicated that the FF in the demo was only wired to do
certain things.  Hopefully the FF will be better in the retail version.
Force Feedback is fine but I'm not sure I'd base the entire worth of a
racing title soley on its implementation of FF.
