Can anyone tell me how to disable my on-board video now that I have
installed my new Intergraph 3d Reactor card.  It semms to work OK but Win
95 keeps trying to re-install the drivers each time.  My computer is a
Packard Bell with a Cirrus Logic CLGD 5434 on board video

I don't think Packard Hells have one, but check to see if you have a
jumper on your motherboard to disable the onboard video.  Also in the
Device Manager make sure you've removed all other Display Adapters.

After 3 months of e-mails,trial & error, and many a beer I finally
disabled my on-board mem. Here we go:

1.] Click on start
2.] Select Settings
3.] Select Control Panel
4.] Open the System Icon
5.] Select the Device Manager Tab
6.] Click on the {+} in front of Display Adapters
7.] Highlight the current video driver and click on Properties
8.] Remove the check mark from in front of Original
Configuration{Current}
9.] Restart your computer

If it's a desktop, and it has the jumper, it should be almost centered
under the expansion bay. Which means that you yank all your cards out
to check. Some of them are to supposed to auto detect a new video card
and self disable the original. (Can you say plug-and-pray? I knew you
could.)
When I think about it, the towers should be the same setup. Yank the
cards, look there. If you don't see it... <shrug>.
