I practiced for this race on the 429ford races on Sierra. Is it just me, or
are the races on there exceptionally clean?

I would second that, I had the pleasure of racing against Mr. 429 in a
previous league, he knows how to setup a server, he races cleanly himself
and would probably, to the best anyone can, require it of people on his
servers......I join them when I can.

Eldred,
I have practiced on 429 too and had the same experience for the most part.
Of course, there is always the exception. Here lately, I have been getting
some experience avoiding the wreckers and its kinda entertaining as long as
I know that going into the race. I usually start in the rear and watch the
wreckers and then try to go around them. About half way through the race the
wreckers are usually all gone and then you race to see how close you can
finish to the leader.

Sorry, I've never heard of 429ford.  This is an 'open' server with clean races?
Amazing...  I didn't think it was possible. :-)

For some reason I didn't think I was going to like that track, but it turned
out to be a pretty good race by everyone. Especially the first 125 laps or
so. Only a couple of yellows. Had a lot of fun with Joonli and JeLe for
awhile during the first 60.

Well there is some foolishness, but *relatively* they seem pretty doggone
clean.
Did have a bad experience there today practicing for Phoenix. Some guy took
to calling me jap and foreigner. Must be because of the screen name Joon Li.
Thought it was pretty amusing considering I am really just run-of-the-mill
white trash.

I think they have made this track a lot easier in N2002 as compared to
N4.  I remember in N4 that after about 10 laps your RR was gone and if
you so much as looked at the gas you would spin out.  Coulda just been
the setup, but I seem to remember never really being able to fix it.
All my setups in N2002 for this track do not seem to have this
problem.

I didn't get a chance to run any practice laps, so I sat that race out.  Since
I requested that people practice, it's only fair that I'm constrained by the
same suggestions.

You mean there's people in RASCAR who cause wrecks intentionally?

I would say there usually are less prepared, less aware or perhaps less
skillfull players present in the races, but no wreckers.

"Here lately" is a coloquialism meaning "Recently", and refers to his
experiences on the 429 server.

There are no wreckers (at least intentional wreckers) in RASCAR.

Jan,
I was talking about wreckers on the sierra races. I did not mean to imply
that there were wreckers in RASCAR. I haven't seen one yet. If there were,
I'm sure they would be removed in short order.

cheers,
grub

Guess that there are all types out there who tend to judge people by their
name. That is so sad. You'd think that we would have progressed by now.
Heck, archie bunker has been off the air for over 20 years now and people
just will not learn. That punk who called you a jap is probally some yankee
wop wishing that he had some table scraps brains from a jap. One of my best
friends is a jap and I hang out with crackers all the time. My wet-back
brother-in-law has more sense than this yankee punk.
