Isn't the saying "pot calling the kettle black", Meiji?
So you DO admit that you do sit on high and cast pearls of wisdom down to
the plebs?

Speaking for myself I generally respond in the manner of the preceding
message sent to me. I certainly claim no vast knowledge, simply that
people here tend to be somewhat condescending, supercilious or
downright rude when disagreeing, hence I respond in the same manner.

Cheers!

"It's an extra tax you pay every year depending upon the size/value of
your house (even if you are renting etc)"

Now either tell me that the above is incorrect or FFS give it a rest.
Or are you one of these people who goes on and on and on because you
so desperately want to be right?

Cheers!

Is anyone else thinking "Celebrity Death Match" now?
Wallace vs. Kennewell, the simracing fight of the century! :)

Well I considered this part of the thread dead but apparently not.
Whatever. Anyway I was just correcting your naming of the tax and you
decided to take it further. As *I* said, you described council tax but
called it poll tax and I just corrected it.

I read the message out of context. Kennewell *and* Wallace vs. Meiji
it seems to be. Well, that's not as much fun as the match I hoped for.

Now, if we could get Ymenard to fight on the side of Meiji, it could
become more thrilling... Or Bruce Kennewell vs. Daxe Rexford in the
ultimate RAS spelling contest...

I think I better take cover now. :)

PS: Please don't get angry. I appreciate the contributions to RAS by
all the people mentioned above. No offense meant, just poking a bit of
good natured fun of you guys. :)

But my comment wasn't directed towards John.  It was aimed at Meiji.

Hmm that would be interesting..  Bruce is the Murray Walker of SimRacing!
Meiji is no match for me.  The ability to destroy a planet is nothing
compared to the power of the Force, remember... ;-)

<Wolfgang ducks and loads of GPL engine fireballs pass over his head,
burning his hair>

Ok, now for a penalty you will be forced to race CART:Precision Racing at
Milwaukee without the patch, ouch what a suffering!

I never bought CART:PR after reading the criticism in RAS. Seems to
have been a sensible decision. ;)

After yesterday's CART race, I'm more convinced than ever that we need
a decent (GPL physics engine) CART sim, however. Wasn't that an
fascinating race weekend, both in F1 and CART?
[How do I phrase this without giving anything away for people who
taped the races?] "I really felt intense pity for someone in one of
the races, and was delighted by the performance of someone else in the
other race, who did a lot of overtaking." :)
