Another NASCAR pit help

I bought Nascar CD-rom version a couple of weeks ago and updated it from
Papurys ftp to version 1.2. Anyway the 20-page "manual" that I have is
uncredibly scarce source of information.

I notice that everytime I pit to change a tyre or repair (I figured
out myself how to calibrate these) pit crew fills the whole tank of
gasoline no matter what I do, this is very frustrating when racing at the
end of race with almost empty tank (light, fast car) you get more weight
and lose a lot of time. So is there possibility to alter that green *fill
up to* option to something else than 22 gallonas, when pitting in the race?
Also there appears to be green options in gross weight (F6?) info putton,
is it possible also to change these (and possiblyother set ups of the car)
during the  pit stop  without going to garage (which is not possible during t
he race anyway)?

(please do not answer that check the manual more carefully, I have done
that dozens of times)

Thanks for pieces of advices,
                                        JTS.

Press F3 to get to the fuel information page while on the race course.
Then, use < or > to change the number of gallons you want pumped in.

And don't worry about people saying "RTFM," we pity you folks using the
infamous European manual!  Hasn't Papyrus offered to send U.S. manuals if
you call their customer assistance line?

Good luck.

JTS,
The reason for the F* buttons is for making changes during a
pitstop.  You alter them by using the "<",">" keys to increase or decrease
the highlighted numbers.  For example, when it shows you the fuel at 22
gallons, use < to decrease it.

Hope that helps.

No, not really.

The US manual contains licensed NASCAR properties that Papyrus does not have
European licenses for. Thus, Papyrus cannot legally send a US manual.

(*** handles the European market for NASCAR Racing [the simulation
that is, not the actual "real life" sport].) *** has agreed to
print a proper manual and exchange it free of charge for your current
European manual. Contact your local *** sales office.

Good luck.

Er are you sure??
Try pressing F3 before you come in and using the "<", ">" keys to specify the
fill to option.
