I have a p3 500 256mb tnt2u and an 8mb v2. my frame rates are lower with the
open gl patch with my tnt2u than with my v2. In car the rates hang in low
20's, 36 from f10. I have not played this game in a very long time, maybe
this is the reason.
If anyone has tips, or links to tweak guides I would greatly appreciate the
help.
I have the 1.2 something version of gpl

First we are gonna have to start charging TNT/GPL folks. You all have
the same questions and we all have the same answers. GPL is best
improved by purchasing a V3 3000 3dfx card(or newer V5). In your case,
since you seem married to the tnt, the only other option would be to add
a second 3dfx V2 card.
try and find another V2 card that is exactly the same as your current
V2.

Are you using your voodoo 2? It will probably work better than your ultra
(if your not already). I had a k6-2 300 with a voodoo 2 in it and GPL ran
great on it (perhaps not 36 but you would expect a p3-500 to do 36!). What
resolution are you running it in?
