I'm looking to buy a FF joystick to use with motorcycle sims. Any
recommendations?

TIA,

Jan.

Correct, that doesn't exclude, however, the need for a decent joystick to
exercise my inadequacies with.

I was hoping that someone would give you a serious answer to this question,
as I've been wondering the exact same thing for the past week or so.

Oh well. Say La Vee.

I've tried the CH Force Feedback Pro and the Microsoft Sidewinder Force
Feedback Pro.  I liked the way the CH one felt, but the Microsoft one seemed
a little easier to control after the feedback kicked in.  I think this was
due to the smaller handle on the sidewinder...it was easier to grip onto and
not overcontrol.  I suspect if I had used the CH stick more tho', I would've
gotten to like it better.

Also, keep in mind that I used both of these with flight sims only!

The Microsoft FF Sidewinder Precision Pro seems to be quite a
favourite among game reviews and computer magazines. It'll be my next
'big buy'...

I don't think he's a ***that sit's on it.
Hey, that's a great idea for a new genre! A *** sim with FF support! Must
go now. Gotta go take a copyright for that one. And while I'm at it I'll
contact Hyperstim.

Force

I've owned them both, used the MS FF for a year. It broke. Took it
apart and this cheesy plastic molding held the third axis (twist)
spring. This is a geavy spring which takes a hell of a force when you
twist the stick (rudders). The plastic piece had worn out and the
spring wasn't able to center anymore. Plastic peices fell into the
works and started to affect feedback.

CH FF is built like a brick. Opened it up when new, very tough design.
Don't forget, CH makes sticks for the military. Buy the CH if you want
ff.
