by McKafr » Thu, 10 Sep 1998 04:00:00

Hiya

I bought the wheel yesterday, and Im not able to calibrate it in GP2
(separated pedals)

it says "Error: Not enough Joystick Range ..."

whats the problem ?

It works great with GPL, ICR2, NFS2 (NFS2 is the only game my sister likes)
 :)

Help please ...

I believe this is a problem with your joystick port. If you had
a TM-ACM game card, you could crank the setting up. What
are you using for a game port anyway?

I have seen that problem before, and it is due I think to switching the
pedals to separated.  try changing them back, and they will calibrate.  I
don't know why, but I couldn't get any of my games to calibrate with the
pedals on seperate.

Hi Ayrton,

On your Gp2 Cd there is a config file, I believe named T1.CON. (If
memory serves well, in the UTILS directory).  Place this in the
GPSAVES directory, and select it in your controler config menu.
Maybe it does help.

I use the SB16 port ...  (and works fine in the GPL Demo ...)

Sorry to be so late in responding (hope you got the problem solved).
First do as another poster suggested (use the T1.CON for starters).
But also make sure you chose the option of "controller driven" when you
attempt to setup and calibrate in GP2.
