SCGT Sound problems

by Joel Willstei » Fri, 05 Nov 1999 04:00:00

I recently downloaded the 3.0 service pack along with the Riley & Scott
and Silk Cut Jag.Both of these GT-1 cars has there own sound files,so there
wasn't any problems. But when I tried the other GT-1 cars, there was no
engine sounds. However,I do have engine sounds with the Trans-Ams cars.

Anyone have a idea what I did wrong?

Thanks,

You just have to add a few more sounds to your sound folder.  At
gtinsider there is an update file that was made fairly early after SCGT
was released.  SP3.0 replaces most of that update, but there are all the
sounds you need.  dload update 1.2, then ONLY UNZIP the sound files(I
think they all have the .wav extension)  into the 22hz sound folder.
choose a race with a McClaren and a Ferrari WSC car in the field.  Enjoy
the rasp of the BMW in the MAC and the SCREAM of the V12 in the Ferrari.

the dload is in the 'upgrade' section at gtinsider, called the gt1 1.2
update.
