ICR - are there patched tracks?

by Steve Smi » Wed, 07 Jun 1995 04:00:00

.
It seems to me that a few of the tracks in ICR are not set up
properly - Detroit, for instance, seems to have the race start
        on the wrong side.

If boffins have corrected/optimized any ICR tracks, where and
        what would they be?

While I have your attention, which attribute is more useful
when playing ICR - extra memory (expanding from 5mg to 8mg),
        or cpu speed (currently 486 40mhz to 486 DX2 66)?

        Thanks for any help,

        steve

Track patches are available at the very least on Papyrus's bbs, the number
of which I don't have handy but it's in the manual.

Papyrus has patches for the Detroit startline, Indy yellow flag bug,
and MidOhio yellow flag and weather problems. They are available at
the Papyrus BBS (617)-576-7472. It has a lot of files For IndyCar and
Nascar racing fans including records and car setups. The FTP site at
ftp.papyrus.com in comparison is very sparse and did not have the fixes
the last time I looked.

I'm not sure but I think that the  cpu speed would have more effect.
