Why can't I reconfigure my keyboard to run with "A" as the accelerator
and "Z" as the break?
It's very hard to use the numeric keyboard....
Though I finished one lap on Monza yesterday without going in the walls
at all! The time was good too....2 min 44 sec.!
I'm only "driving" a few times a month for an hour or so, and don't feel
like buying wheels and pedals....

Is there any way I can patch this game, so it's a bit easyer? (Like the
advanced option program in SCGT)

You can. If you hexedit the .cfg file (can't remember which one, but I
think it's in your players/ directory), following the locations listed
on my site (www.flack99.freeserve.co.uk/ -> file formats -> cfg file),
then it should work. Backup any files first !

I'm amazed you can drive at all with the keyboard. If you can't run to
a wheel/pedals combo, why not use a joystick? I've got a totally basic
MS Sidewinder (their bottom-of-the-range stick), and I can do regular
1:30s with that. It's *massively* easier than the keyboard, and cost me
UKP20.

Of course, if you buy wheel and pedals (or even joystick) you'll
probably find you're driving considerably more than a few time per month
:-)
