On exiting from F1RS I recieve this error:

The error will not close and I can't use cntrl alt delete either. Reset
is the only option and that means Win95B must reboot run Scandisk....
annoying problem!:o/
My system:
AMD k6 233
FIC PA 2007 MB w/1 meg cache
24 megs of RAM
Intense 3D Rendition card-Canopus BIOS
Aztech Soundcard-with latest drivers but that didn't help exiting prob
I've tried different BIOS' and drivers for the video card. The game
bombs out with the latest Canopus drivers. I get a D3d error before it
even starts. I'm using the latest Rendition Reference Drivers (Jan '98)
and the game does work with these drivers although they benchmark slower
than the Canopus drivers. I loaded the MSdirectx drivers on the F1RS
cdRom
and the game wouldn't even start the intro 'movies'. I received a black
screen and nothing else. I had to use cntrl alt delete to restart the
computer.
I'm not sure the 'exit' prob has anything to do with the video but
since F1RS has been so picky about video drivers it is my first
suspect. Once I exit the game my Windows Desktop will come up and the
computer will whirl a bit and then the error box appears. It CAN'T be
closed. I thought maybe I could 'outsmart' it and hit cntrl alt delete
during the game instead of the 'exit' button, BUT I'm locked out of
cntrl alt delete (is this normal for F1RS or should that work?) I have
patched it with the latest (1.05) patch.
....Maybe one of you 'rocket science' types will recognize my problem or
what the error box is trying to tell me and can help.....
Thanks in advance,
Alan
