F1RS problem... HELP

by Marc Rennhar » Sun, 26 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Hi there,

F1RS is beginning to drive me crazy... my problem:

So far, I'm only playinig in the time-attack mode. Usually after 15
minutes or so, F1RS simply stops, the screen freezes, returning to win95
is not possible. Sometimes the games just stops for .2 seconds or so but
then continues, just to freeze two or three laps later.

I've tried original version (german) and patches 1.07, 1.08 - no
difference.

All details on except replay.

My system:

P 233 MMX, 48 MB RAM
matrox millenium 1, drivers 3.70
orchid righteous 3d, drivers 3.01
adaptec 2940, two hd's, toshiba cd-rom 3701B
sb 16
thrustmaster t2, no adapter
directx5 installed

never had problems with other games.

Any help? I'd really like to play this game...

thanks, marc

What is your swapfile/free disk space situation? And is anything
overclocked? What 3dfx options are set in your autoexec.bat?
