I have not been able to get SCGT to work with my new computer.  I get the
menus but when I click on race it boots me back to desktop.

P4 1.5ghz
128 PC800 Ram
Geforce 2 Ultra (latest Drivers)
Soundblaster Live

p.s. reinstalled works now but what are the cheats to get all cars and
tracks back.
I tried the isi-cheeseman and isi-tbone but don't get all cars.

Thanks

after isi-cheeseman
type isi-aardvark
and also isi-tbone
make sure you see the box on the upper left after cheeseman that says 'cheat
mode enabled'  then the
other two cheats should work.

Just had a re-look at SCGT myself.  Got a few tracks installed and things
are running well.  Only thing is that I see only two cars.  I've done the
isi-cheeseman and the isi-tbone, and get the message that all tracks and
vehicles have been enabled.  I see all the tracks but none of the cars.

When I run the isi-aardvark, I get a message about credits enabled.  Do I
have to now go buy cars?

I'm lost.  Would like some new cars; I even installed some into the /patch
directory but those did not show either.

BTW, anyone for some online.  Forgot how fun and excellent this game was.

Thanks,

yes...go to the 4 different classes(maybe 3) and choose a car.    Then you
can upgrade it.  Be advised, the newer homemade cars are built to proper
specs without most of the upgrades.  So don't get to used to driving with a
mega motor.  Grab the gearbox, suspension & aero upgrades.
Try and leave the others alone.  Also make sure you track down the
Advanced options editor to add a little more sim to the program AND get rid
of the Quicksand they call grass.

Make sure you're in Career mode.  In Quick Race mode you can only
access the original few cars.  With the cheats you can buy what you
want in Career and then access them in Quick Race (IIRC).

"But in a way, fear is a big part of racing, because if there was
nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark
