Destruction Derby 2 Steering problems...anypne able to help?

I have recalibrated the joystick about 100 times. The car is pulling HARD to
the left. Keyboard the car runs straight and other games (like Nascar2) it
runs fine of the joystick.
SB16 and noname gamepad.
Anyone have this problem or heard of this problem and a possible fix?
