CAN$45 for an "old" game! I don't think so. But there on the shelf for $35
is CMR2.0. What the hell.
Get it home and load it up. Wheee!!! This is a seriously fun and well done
game (after a bit of editing to get Grist's voice back) with beautiful
graphics.
Until someone invents CMRRank I think I'm going to have a bit of fun for the
next little while...

A fellow r.a.s'er was kind enough to send me a file called englishspeech.bfl
(which is Nicky's voice from the European version of CMR ) - thanks Lou!!
Rename it to engUSAspeech.bfl and replace the lame version in the
CountrySpecific/USA folder and Nicky's back.

There is also a page of links there and you will find a couple online
competitions including an online ladder and a hotlaps compitition that has a
ranking somewhat like GPLRank.

Isn't it funny how a simple little thing like that affects our enjoyment of
the game? I think it was the 3rd or 4th corner that I noticed the lack of
Grist's voice. I actually was disappointed for quite a while.
