There 'shouldn't' be any problem.  But then, I'm not an XP user.  I will
say that if you can find it, F1 Challenge 99 - 02(F1c) is usually only
about $9 usa dollars at the bigger chain stores like Best Buy and CompUsa.
Any wierdness with xP should be fixed since F1c is the 4th newer generation
of F1 2000.
You don't mention your system specs.  How much RAM does your system
have, what speed is the CPU and what kind of video card do you have?  And
what version of DirectX do you have installed.

Fairly common system...So you seem to be clearly in the ballpark for
the title.  My only GUESS right now might be the age of F1 2k and it's
probably designed for directx 7 or 8.( I can't remember which.)
You might want to try rolling back the video drivers for your geforce
card to 21.8x.  Those were the first working drivers for F1 2k.
There is a patch also for 2k isn't there?

then try here...Now this is a conundrum.  They have the nocd with the
patch, which is good, but they have two versions.  I cannot for the life of
me remember which patch was the one used, but 106 'sounds' more familiar
than 109.

ok, I saw what happened.  There are three links.  Skip the first one and
grab the v1.09 with the nocd.  That one works.
