N3 locks up after 5-10 minutes. I've got a K7 850 with a NVIDIA GeForce 256
with 32 MB and DirectX 7.0a. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you dont have anything running in background.  And no
screensaver, no scheduled virus scan and no MS Find Fast.  After that,
check for overheating by leaving cover off case and maybe pointing a
table fan to pc.
