How many cars do you draw in front and behind you? And what kind of
frame rate do you expect (call decent)?
These things are very important if you expect meaningful responses.

I've got a 75 Mhz Pentium with 16 Meg RAM and a video card with 1 Meg.
Would it help greatly to upgrade to 2 Meg of RAM on the video card?
I am now running with everything pretty much off except car textures.
I am running in the SVGA mode, and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

My main question is for people who have similiar hardware, is this
common or do I have something set wrong? I love the SVGA graphics,
but I also loved being able to play in VGA with everything on and
38 cars drawn in front of me!

AT LEAST YOU CAN GET THE SVGA GRAPHICS TO WORK. I CONFIGURED MY MACHINE WITH AS MUCH FREE MEM AS POSSIBLE AND IT STILL WILL NOT LET ME RUN IN SVGA.

Oh dear, not only can you not use SVGA but your capslock key is
broke as well! It just not your day is it?

You will have to manually (or during boot-up) have to load a svga
driver too.

Dude, you have to type Nascar -h and it will probably be quite slow
on a 66mhz in SVGA.. Hope this helps though...
