Has anyone had any problems with the new car setups for NASCAR Racing. I copied the
cars94.dat and the .txt files into the /cars94/ directory and when I play the game I
can't go into the garage. It will work when I'm low on memory, but will not work
when I have optimized my memory.
Don't optimize your memory - it's no use !
Nascar runs in dos/4gl mode, using all the memory available.
The only things you will have to include in your startup files
are Himem.sys, your videocard driver (optional) and your soundcard drivers
(optional). This will probably give Nascar enough memory to load the garage.
When it doesn't load, try again, because when you try the small window in the
right upper corner (where you see your car - it uses a lot of memory) will
stop and begin all over again, using less memory ...
