Could someone please tell me how to setup the ECCI wheel and pedals in
WIN95?I have the adapter cable plugged in but I can't get my wheel and
pedals to work.I dont see a wheel and pedal setup in the Win95 joy stick
calibration setup screen.Do I use custom or what?I usualy drive under Dos
but I'm trying to get ready for the NRO and you have to use Win95 for
Ten.Could someone please explain this to me?I know allot of you use Win95
to drive Nascar 2 so I'm sure this won't be a prob.We will all have to use
it in the NRO.

Thanks,Eric
P.S Here is my e-mail address if you would rather reply by it:(

Eric,

With the adapter cable your early CDS system will calibrate as a single
two axis joystick (late model CDS2 units need no adapter) First if your
pedal unit has a switch on the left side of the housing switch it to the
down position. In the Windows 95 joystick setup screen you need to select
CUSTOM JOYSTICK; and then select 2 AXES and FOUR BUTTONS. Also select IS A
RACE CAR COMNTROLLER. When going through the calibration steps it is
important to follow EXACTLY what the routine prompts you to do... a common
mistake is not setting the center point twice... once at the very
beginning of calibration and again at the end. If you only set center once
it will not work. This should get you through, but if it does not, just
contact ECCI by E-mail and we will be happy to help you further if needed.

Eric,
I don't have any ideas of how to fix, I'm having the same
problelms with my t2.  What I did was want to ask you a question.  Are
you, (outside of this problem), happy with your wheel and pedals?  I
have been considering switching to a wheel and pedals made by ecci,
but I haven't been too sure about it.  But since racing on kali
numerous times, Ive started to think again about it.  What was your
cost?  Did you buy the wheel seperate from the pedals, or did you buy
them both?  Im thinking about buying the steering wheel now, and
getting the pedals later, since I really cant afford both at the same
time.  Do you know if the steering wheel works with any other pedal
assembly?
Thanks for your help.  I appreciate it.

Use custom and that will give you choice of race car controller, then
follow instructions in Win and ECCI booklet. I have them, great
system.
