Act-Labs shifter in Finland?

I am going to buy Act-Labs GPL USB shifter + two shifter plates. No store in
Finland seems to have them. Apparently, if ordered directly from Act-Labs,
they will cost me $130.89 + $7.13 + $7.13.

Can I get a better deal by buying from elsewhere - from Sweden for example?
I have VISA.

Raymond, when will you sell the new pedals to regular shops cause the
shipping costs are REALLY discouraging for Europe..

Thx

Raymond,

Very kind of you to reply, but neither the Force RS nor the Shifter are
available through the German site. So nor very useful for the European
drivers, unfortunately. And they have no English language support. (I speak
some German:-) ).

Cheers,
Jens, Force RS owner :-)

I hope to be the owner of a GPL shifter in the near future, and
I guess there are many europeans who have wanted to buy a wheel,
the shifter or the pedals and gotten a quote where shipping cost is more
than the merchandise.

Is there a possibility of adding a slower and less expensive shipping
method.
Normal insured or even uninsured mail (risk is on me)? That is what amazon
does. Or since buying a wheel is now possible from the german site. Can you
start to sell shifter and pedals from the German site too?

I've ordered my wheel & shifter and new pedals from Act-Labs on-line and it
is being shipped from Holland via German post at only $60 total shipping
costs. It says that this is how they do it to European destinations on their
site.

Cheers Lee

Act-Labs shifter in Finland?

I don't know if you'll have the same situation in the Finland as we do in
Britain, but when I bought the USB Upgrade cartridge I paid:
Cartridge:     $50
Postage:       $25

Then, when the UPS man arrived at my door he wanted 19 ($44 Canadian) for
import duties, so that's a total of $120 Canadian for this small cartridge.
So, to be on the safe side, save a little more money in case you have to pay
more when you open your front door and try to take hold of the goods!

Cheers :o)
